In the third century B.C., the heir to the throne of the Chinese kingdom of Qin, becomes obsessed with conquering and unifying the six remaining kingdoms of China. As he tears through the kingdoms, destroying anyone and anything that gets in his way, his destiny draws nearer. When his continued brutality loses him the support of his lover, Lady Zhao, she joins in the plan to assassinate him.
