It's a couple of days later, and I decide to give Slick a call. I hadn't seen him around for a while. I phone the Majestic.
"Ah, I am sorry Monsieur, there is no one registered by that name."
That's odd. I was sure he had said he was staying on through closing night, still several days away.
I wonder what happened to him...
